- Double click My Computer
- Double click Dialup Networking
- Double click Make New Connection
- Type NetRide where it says My Connection
- Click Next
- Make sure the area code is blank
- Type Type in this local access number (you do not need a 1 or 405) 648-4055
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Right click NetRide
- Left Click Properties
- On the general tab uncheck the box that either says 'Use country code and area code' or 'Use area code and dialing properties'
- Click the Server Types tab and make sure the server type is set to PPP
- Under Advanced Network Options only Enable Software Compression should be checked
- Under Allowed Network Protocols only TCP/IP should be checked
- Click TCP/IP Settings button
- Make sure you have Server Assigned IP Address selected
- Make sure you have Server Assigned Name Server Addresses selected
- Make sure you have Use IP Header Compression selected
- Make sure you have Use Default Gateway on Remote Network selected
- Click OK
- Click on the Scripting tab
- Make sure nothing is written in the filename box (nothing as in nothing whatsoever)
- Click on Multilink and make sure Do Not Use Additional Devices is selected
- Click OK
- Right click NetRide
- Left click Create Shortcut
